- Bookkeeping without a fiduciary
Bookkeeping without a fiduciaryYou no longer need a fiduciary for your bookkeeping.
With a fiduciary, you see your year once it is over. With Bilanzi, every day.
With Autopilot, Bilanzi reads every receipt on its own and suggests an account for every new bank line. It works out your VAT return and payroll from your entries, in Free as well. Nothing is booked until you confirm it.

Take a photo or send them by email. With Autopilot they read themselves, and you confirm the entry.
Bank
Bilanzi matches every payment and tells you why. With Autopilot, your bank delivers the movements every morning through EBICS.
VAT return
Bilanzi works it out from your entries, with the effective method or the net tax rate. The FTA’s ePortal reads the file.
Payroll
Bilanzi calculates wages with withholding tax, creates the payslips and issues the salary certificate.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a fiduciary?
Not for your bookkeeping. The law requires your company to keep accounts and allows you to keep them electronically. It does not say who has to make the entries. With Autopilot, Bilanzi reads your receipts and matches your bank. It works out your VAT return and payroll, and you confirm what gets booked.
Does my GmbH need an audit?
Not if it has no more than ten full-time employees on annual average and all its partners agree. This waiver is called opting out. It only applies to future financial years and must be filed with the commercial register office before the year begins. You enclose the annual accounts for the last financial year. Even without an audit, your GmbH prepares annual accounts.
Who does my year-end close?
You do, with Bilanzi. Bilanzi prepares the balance sheet and income statement from your entries, structured according to the Swiss Code of Obligations. A checklist takes you in five steps from the finished year to opening the next one. With Autopilot, the AI first looks for duplicates, unusual VAT codes and missing receipts. For a GmbH or AG, you write the notes yourself.
What about the tax return?
You file it with your canton’s tax office. Your company encloses the signed balance sheet and income statement. Both come out of Bilanzi, already structured. You read the figures for the form straight from them.
What if the tax office asks questions?
You show them your books and receipts, as the law provides. In Bilanzi each receipt sits with its entry, and Bilanzi shows you every entry that has none. The audit trail records every change. You download a whole financial year as files, with all receipts in a ZIP. Whatever remains unclear, the Bilanzi team explains.
