Questions about pricing

Is Free really free forever?

Yes. Free has no end date, and we never ask for payment details. Free never turns into a subscription on its own.

Do I need a credit card?

No. For Free, all you need is an email address or a Google or Apple account.

Is the VAT return included in Free?

No, the VAT return comes with Starter. On Free you can still post entries with VAT rates. If you set up your business before 25 September 2026, it keeps the VAT return on Free.

Can my accountant work with me on Free?

Yes. Your accountant works in your books through a mandate. They don’t count as a person, and it costs you nothing. A fiduciary firm with many mandates takes the Fiduciary plan for itself.

What happens when the month’s receipts are used up?

You carry on by hand until the end of the month, just like on Free. Or you buy a pack of extra receipts. A pack never expires and only kicks in once your plan’s receipts are used up. The count starts again on the first of the month.

How much space do I get for receipts?

On Free you get 2 GB. That’s enough for many years of receipts, because Bilanzi makes photos smaller before storing them. PDFs stay as they are.

Can I change plans?

Yes. You change your plan in the settings, under Subscription.

How do I cancel?

There’s nothing to cancel on Free. You end a paid plan yourself in the settings, under Subscription.

What happens to my data if I go back to Free?

Nothing is lost. When a paid plan ends, your business moves to Free. Your books stay, and you can download them at any time.
